French Toast is an old favourite, sweetened with banana and drizzled with honey this is definitely one to impress.
We have this one for breakfast or lunch. It's even perfect for lunchboxes to keep those tummies full and nutritiously satisfied.
I use the Gluten Free Precinct - Sprouted loaf, this bread is full of nutrient rich organic ingredients, high in fibre and magnesium, it's an absolute favourite in my household.

(to make 3-4 pieces)
Ingredients
- 2 x eggs
- 1 x large banana (mashed)
- 3-4 slices of bread
- honey
- butter
- olive oil
Method
- Mash banana in a bowl
- Add to eggs, mix well until you achieve a nice combined liquid (lumps of banana are fine)
- Heat the fry pan with some olive oil
- Soak one piece at a time, completely covering the bread in the mixture and transfer to the fry pan.
- Cook until nicely browned and flip
- Once cooked - add some butter and a drizzle of honey.
